So, SixPacAbbs is back! How great. Mainly because Summer has started and I know I am going to get bored. Especially since I am going home for the next two weeks. Family, I adore you. But, sometimes home is hard for me. It is hard to go from being an Independent Woman (insert Destiny Child's song here), from being babied. Don't get me wrong-it is nice. But, only for short term.
What's new in my life you may be asking? I would tell you. Um Hello,
1. I got accepted to the University of Utah's Occupational Therapy program. So pumped! I cried when I found out. Maybe it was because I was so happy, but in reality it was my Freudian sub conscious crying due to the fact I am going to be in serious debt and will have to sell my soul in order to live. It will be fantastic! Also, I feel no disloyalty going from BYU to the U. That's dumb.
2. I turned 22. Hooray! So mature. False. I will never be mature. Whatever.
3. We made a bomb March Madness Bracket in our living room. Also, I pick Mizzou to win it all and they got out in the first round. Maybe I slammed a door. Probably I was furious. Now, I have to buy my dad dinner-more specifically dinner at Fenway Park where a hot dog is like $25 dollars.
4. I made my first Easter Dinner. Delish if I do say so myself. We ate outside, out of the back of my car. Such college students. Also, the Easter bunny came. He hid gifts for us. The Easter bunny terrifies me. The thought of a giant bunny jumping through my home really freaks me out.
5. Oh and... I GRADUATED KAWLUDGE!
(Well sort of)
But, those are minor details. Technically I don't graduate til August after my internship. However, I walked in April. It was really awkward when my mom asked where my name was in the program and I had to tell her, my dad, and my grandparents who flew 2903482309482309 miles to see me, that I actually was not graduating, so I would not be in the program. Yeah, AWKWARD.
Here's me on the big day...
Just so mature. Also, we wore Nikes for graduation. The dean of the #1 business school in America (aka BYU's Marriott School where I graduated from) told us he liked our shoes. BIG DEAL |
And my most favorite picture from graduation....
If you are not laughing right now. Then you suck.
i am definitely laughing right now.
